Wisconsin tourism reports economic growth in 2019, less optimistic for 2020
(WLUK) -- While tourism in Wisconsin saw its biggest year in at least a decade, officials do not expect to see growth in 2020.

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism announced Monday tourism’s impact on the state’s economy reached $22.2 billion last year.

It`s part of an annual study conducted by Tourism Economics.

However due to the impact of COVID-19, travel restrictions are keeping Wisconsin residents and visitors at home.
