Right-Wing Network Fights Proposed Wisconsin Minimum Wage Hike

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers` proposal to increase the state`s long-stagnant minimum wage has run into stiff resistance from a well-coordinated influence network funded by the Milwaukee-based Bradley Foundation.

The proposed increase of 75 cents per year for the next three years would raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.50 per hour by 2023 and put more money in the pockets of Wisconsin`s working poor. Evers` budget would also create a task force to study the feasibility of moving to a $15 per hour minimum wage...

Ken Notes: Why not require that companies increase the pay for their employees the same 75 cents per year or offer benefits after three years. This type of program would be far more beneficial to both the employee and the employer.
