Fall Creek, WI cheese company to cut staff

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development announced Monday that Imperia Foods of Fall Creek, Wisconsin will cut 60 jobs at its cheese slicing facility. 

The parent company of Imperia, Schuman Cheese, plans on installing two new, state-of-the-art cheese lines over the coming months.

Ken Notes: Milk prices are down, production is suffering and people are starving. The US and Wisconsin should use capacity to help feed the world. We send billions in cash to feed the world yet we have huge surpluses of cheese ready to ship. Governor Walker should call President Trump and suggest we use both Wisconsin production capacity and US stores to feed the world. Also there is huge demand to fill cargo ships returning to China, I`m just saying...
